This letter is to celebrate life of a remarkable lady who, with her very informative and useful cookbook, made American food and home cooking part of our daily life.
The book, “The Fannie Farmer Cookbook,” became an essential part of many families, like ours. My friend and I prepared and enjoyed all those delicious salads and other dishes. They were very simple to make and very nutritious.
Thank you to the late Marion Cunningham, who was born in Glendale, nee Marion Enwright.
