Hoping worker wins her appeal
(Re: “Former city hall worker to appeal,” July 4) Mary Rodriguez has been a friend, former neighbor and fellow Y member for many years. She has always been knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Many people at the Y were encouraged by her example of fitness, she was more fit than people half her age, running, weight-training and teaching classes, so I am not sure why her lawyer included age discrimination.
Many people can identify with having a difficult boss. How could Mary have performed well for years, and then with one boss, be suddenly found incompetent?
I’m rooting for her to win her appeal.
