Keep Huerta, get rid of Caneday

I am going to miss Gary Huerta’s column. He seemed to be an adventurous guy, which was fun and interesting. Also, he talked a lot about places, people, issues in Glendale that I knew, cared about, responded to, which is quite different from much of the news about people you don’t know and don’t respond to as strongly.

I hope you’ll reconsider. I certainly prefer Huerta’s column, to, say, Patrick Caneday’s, and would give Huerta’s column pride of place on the editorial page where Caneday’s now appears.
