Missing a Glendale fall tradition

Share

It didn’t feel like Halloween this year. Kenneth Village did not host a Fall Festival. We’ve lived in Glendale for almost 12 years now and have never missed this wonderful family event. But this year, it vanished. The costumes, bouncers, treats, bands, and school drill teams were nowhere to be found. What a loss for our neighborhood. I realize that funds from the city did not come through.

But next year, if the festival is once again on the block, I hope the Kenneth Village merchants will organize a fundraiser so that we can work together to bring back a Glendale tradition.
