Salaries might be the problem

Glendale City Manager Scott Ochoa has some nerve (“Glendale seeks straight story,” op-ed, Feb. 24).

He whines about city finances and the loss of taxpayer-financed deals for developers.

If Ochoa cannot balance the city’s budget, he is not worth the more than $235,000 that we taxpayers are paying him each year. Oh, wait, maybe inflated salaries like his are the real problem.
