I've attended most Glendale City Council meetings over the past several years and know most of the candidates running for office.
Some are personal friends and I enjoy the company of others. I admire all who are willing to spend countless hours on public business for a paltry monetary compensation. One must, however, put aside personal feelings when deciding who would best lead Glendale.
Please join me in supporting the two incumbents. Laura Friedman has championed creative and entertainment businesses, supported safe streets and filled up empty storefronts with art, making downtown more interesting. Ara Najarian has been steadfast in opposition to the 710 toll tunnel, which would bring traffic, noise and pollution to Glendale without solving the traffic problems in Alhambra.
