Sad to see Caneday go, hoping to see a return of Huerta

I was a bit sad to see Patrick Caneday is giving up his column. Sometimes I enjoyed his writing, particularly when he talked about local places, since I grew up in Glendale I know some of those places.

His stories brought out many feelings in me, perhaps having similar experiences there or maybe seeing how his experiences there were different from mine. Good journeys, Patrick.

Since he is gone, how about bringing Gary Huerta back? I found his writing funny and intelligent, and actually he has a stronger Glendale connection. He still lives in Glendale.
