How can Twelve Oaks be saved?

Twelve Oaks Lodge, an assisted-living facility in La Crescenta, is closing at the end of October. I have lived here just one year but it is a wonderful place and the residents here do not want to leave.

Can’t something be done to save it? About 50 residents will be uprooted and the employees will be without jobs. It just doesn’t seem right.
