What will happen to Twelve Oaks property?

I am very unhappy to see the Twelve Oaks community close. It has been such a nice, idyllic setting for the elderly and I was looking forward to moving my own mother there in a few years.

I understand nothing can be done about the closure. But I hope a good alternative use will be found for the space. We do not need more homes or apartments squeezed into small lots. We need open space, community centers, even a community pool.

I hope the property owners will work with key residents, including the Crescenta Valley Town Council and Chamber of Commerce, as they move forward.
