Letter: Opportunity was there in hindsight

Re: “Girl’s family sues district,” Nov. 16. Silly me! If only I had known the attorney duo of Richardson and Cameron when my children were in school. Then I, too, could have sued Glendale Unified (also known as local taxpayers) when during schools hours my son fell and chipped his front teeth, requiring expensive cosmetic dental repair.

And when my daughter fell during a high school volleyball game, breaking her hand, which needed extensive and lengthy orthopedic surgery — not to mention the psychological and emotional damage these events caused both of them.

Oh dear! Instead my husband and I “foolishly” took responsibility (a forgotten word) and moved on. Maybe we should have blamed someone else for these accidents and tried to make a quick buck!
