Letter: A call for treating each other better

Last week I wrote to the News-Press about the changes I have seen in Glendale over the past 63 years. My letter was not meant or directed to single out any particular individual or ethnic group. The purpose was to let people know that who we live next to or where we are from should have no bearing on anything. We should all do what we can to make our lives better. By being caring, polite and concerned citizens, we will make our community a better place for us all. I embrace change and encourage the diversity I believe strengthens our society and community.
