A two-month old female Okapi, sharing a tender moment with its mother named Opey, made its media debut at the Los Angeles Zoo on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018. The female calf, which has not been name yet, was born Nov. 18, 2017 and it’s the first female Okapi calf born at the zoo. This is the second offspring to the 14-year old mother.
