With a team that was already beat up with injuries and missing key players, the Burroughs High girls’ soccer team saw five players -- including their two captains -- forced to the bench with injuries. That adversity, coupled with a strong defensive effort by Crescenta Valley, spelled a 2-0 Pacific League victory for the Falcons at Memorial Field on Monday.
