Ben McKendall gave the Glendale Community College baseball team exactly what it needed Friday afternoon. The sophomore pitcher allowed just two hits and struck out five in a 96-pitch effort to power eighth-seeded Glendale to a 13-0 home win against 10th-seeded Orange Coast in the first game of the California Community College Athletic Assn. Southern Super Regional series at Stengel Field.
