Instead of spending their mornings with algebra equations and history lessons in summer school, kids from Glendale, La Crescenta, Burbank and other nearby cities spent the past week getting a first-hand look at police work as part of the Altadena Team CSI program. On Thursday, the group of students took a field trip to the Biscailuz Training Center in Los Angeles, where Los Angeles County Sheriff’s recruits head to earn their badges.
