Shortly after falling in a Mission League home contest Monday night, the members of the St. Francis High soccer team received some positive news -- they will be competing in the CIF Southern Section Division I playoffs after missing out last season. St. Francis yielded a late goal and suffered a 1-0 Mission League defeat against Alemany at Friedman Field. On the flip side, St. Francis clinched fourth place in league after Sherman Oaks Notre Dame posted a 2-0 league home win against Chaminade.
