MEN’S SOCCER

Citrus College 0, Glendale Community College 0: Host Glendale played to a scoreless tie Tuesday in a Western State Conference South Division match.

Glendale is 9-5-4, 1-0-3 in the division.

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Pasadena Poly 13, Flintridge Prep 5: The visiting Rebels dropped their final Prep League match of the season Tuesday at Caltech.

Flintridge Prep is 5-9, 2-8 in league.

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in Sunshine League Tournament: Meghan Garrity of Flintridge Sacred Heart registered a 6-0, 6-0 singles win against Ariana Butler of Alemany on Monday to advance to the semifinals on Wednesday at Weddington Tennis Club in Studio City.

Meghan Sullivan of Flintridge Sacred Heart suffered a 6-3, 6-2 second-round defeat against Mikaela Mansilla of Immaculate Heart.

In doubles, Flintridge Sacred Heart’s tandem of Olivia Partamian and Alex De La Mora posted a 6-2, 6-1 second-round win versus Ashley Li and Lucinda Cropley of Alemany. Also, Claire McDonald and Hayes Sullivan of Flintridge Sacred Heart notched a 6-4, 7-5 win against Sofia Hutton and Madison Skipp of Alemany in the second round.

Both Flintridge Sacred Heart doubles teams will take part in the semifinals.

WOMEN’S CROSS-COUNTRY

Glendale Community College in Western State Conference Finals: Glendale extended its run of dominance by winning its 15th straight conference championship Friday in San Luis Obispo.

The Vaqueros finished with 28 points, besting Oxnard (83 points). Glendale had five top-nine marks.

Paving the way for Glendale, ranked No. 1 in the state, were Yajaira Calderon, who took second in 19 minutes, 51.5 seconds. She was followed by Phoebe Forsyth (third, 20:06.4), Jamie Levin (fourth, 20:22.3), Lydia Forsyth (seventh, 20:31.1) and Bianca Biel (ninth, 21:15.6).

MEN’S CROSS-COUNTRY

Glendale Community College in Western State Conference Finals: The Vaqueros captured their fourth straight conference crown Friday in San Luis Obispo.

Glendale, ranked sixth in the state, registered 43 points.

They Vaqueros were led by Albert Serrano (sixth place, 22:50.6), Kevin Keller ( seventh, 22:57.5), Marvin Guardado (ninth, 22:59.4), Ameer Mohammed (ninth, 23:00.2) and Abraham Martinez (11th, 23:00.8).

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Santa Monica College 3, Glendale Community College 1: Glendale lost a Western State Conference South Division road contest Tuesday.

Brenna Larisch scored a goal for the Vaqueros (5-10-2, 1-6-2 in the division).

Bakersfield College 4, Glendale Community College 1: Visiting Glendale dropped a Western State Conference South Division match Friday.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

Glendale Community College d. West L.A. College, 25-13, 25-23, 25-14: Courtney Johnson finished with nine kills and 12 digs to lead visiting Glendale to a Western State Conference South Division victory Friday.

The Vaqueros (7-11, 4-5 in the division) received 17 digs from Jolene Soliman and 16 from Kayla Madrid and 27 assists from Kaitlin Ronduen.
