GIRLS’ SOCCER

Beverly Hills 2, Glendale 1: Glendale ended its season Tuesday with a CIF Southern Section Division IV wild-card road defeat.

The Nitros, fourth in the Pacific League, finished 7-7-4.

Beverly Hills (14-3-2) took third in the Ocean League.

Samueli Academy 2, St. Monica Academy 1: Visiting St. Monica had its season end Tuesday with a CIF Southern Section Division VII wild-card loss.

St. Monica, ourth in the Heritage League, finished 6-6-1.

Samueli Academy (6-10-1) took fourth in the Academy League.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

Pasadena Poly 20, Crescenta Valley 13: Crescenta Valley saw its season conclude Tuesday in a CIF Southern Section Division IV first-round road match.

The Falcons (13-11) got six goals from Lexie Kawachi and two each from Hanna Ziccardi and Malia Abrahamian.

Crescenta Valley finished third in the Pacific League.

Pasadena Poly, which won the Prep League, improved to 19-2.

COLLEGE BASEBALL

Glendale Community College 9, Chaffey College 6: Glendale overcame a 6-0 deficit in the first inning to earn a nonconference road victory Tuesday.

Glendale (8-2) scored four runs in the third to pull to within 6-4 and took a 7-6 lead in the fifth on a two-run home run by Alex Mills.

The Vaqueros got three hits and three runs from Aaron Suval and two runs batted in apiece from Hans Seo, Casey Slattery and Mills.

WOMEN’S TENNIS

Grossmont College 5, Glendale Community College 4: Host Glendale (2-4) suffered a nonconference defeat Tuesday.

COLLEGE SOFTBALL

Pasadena City College 6, Glendale Community College 5: Visiting Glendale fell Tuesday in a nonconference contest.

The Vaqueros (2-7) scored three runs in the sixth inning to tie it at 6 before Pasadena scored a run in the bottom of the inning.

Amber Hernandez and Triniti Akau had two hits apiece for Glendale.

College of the Desert 19, 7, Glendale Community College 1, 3: Glendale dropped a nonconference doubleheader Saturday at the Glendale Sports Complex.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Glendale Community College 65, Bakersfield College 46: The Vaqueros rolled to a Western State Conference South Division home win Saturday.

Glendale (22-2, 9-1 in the division) received a game-high 16 points from Penelopi Trieu, 14 each from Gloria Bianchi and Zoe Rouse, 11 from Jada Aldana and 10 rebounds from Vicky Oganyan.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Bakersfield College 67, Glendale Community College 60: Glendale lost a Western State Conference South Division contest at home Saturday.

The Vaqueros (5-19, 0-10 in the division) got 12 points and a game-high 16 rebounds from Christian Finney. Jayden Couch had a team-high 13 points for Glendale, which received 11 from Joel Finney.
