BOYS’ WATER POLO

Crescenta Valley 15, Burbank 3: The Falcons improved to 2-0 in the Pacific League on the road on Thursday afternoon behind six goals from Alan Dearman and three from Louis Wojciechowski.

Rane Colvin had 17 saves in goal for the Falcons (11-2).

Glendale 20, Arcadia 7: Gor Asryan led the Nitros with eight goals in their first Pacific League game of the season at Arcadia on Thursday.

David Papazian added four goals and Manuk Hakobyan scored three goals to go with four assists, while Karen Gevorkian finished with seven saves for Glendale (12-5).

Hoover 19, Pasadena 8: The host Tornadoes received a match-high 10 goals from Hakop Kaplanyan on Thursday to secure a Pacific League win.

Hoover (5-8 and 2-0 in league) also got four goals from Arthur Soghomonyan and two apiece from David Pogosian and Ryan Moguel.

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Crescenta Valley 15, Hoover 3: Karen Ataian swept her three singles sets Thursday to lead the Falcons in a Pacific League road victory. Ataian won, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0, while teammate Erin LeVoir picked up a sweep, 6-2, 6-1, 6-0.

Crescenta Valley’s doubles team of Sarah Ali and Talia Moradkhanian swept, losing only one game.

Meghedi Mooradian of Hoover earned a 6-0 singles victory.

Glendale 10, Burbank 8: The visiting Nitros picked up a big Pacific League victory Thursday, as they won all nine doubles sets and swept the two-match season series against the Bulldogs.

Glendale (4-5, 4-3 in league) received doubles sweeps from the tandems Mariam Khachtryan and Hana Jang (6-2, 6-0, 6-0), Arpi Arutunyan and Emily Levin (6-0, 6-2, 6-1) and Celicia McLean and Rochelle Lingat (6-0, 6-1, 6-4). The Nitros also got a 6-0 singles victory from Adrine Babakhanyan.

GIRLS’ GOLF

Flintridge Sacred Hart Academy 242, Alemany 272: Kim Yu Jung carded a four-over-par 39 on Thursday for the Tologs in a Mission League match at Eaton Canyon Golf Course.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Burbank 3, Glendale 0: The host Nitros fell Thursday in a Pacific League match, 25-22, 25-18, 26-24. Glendale dropped to 3-7 and 1-5 in league.
