Crescenta Valley 6, Culver City 0: Pavle Atanackovic scored a pair of goals Tuesday to lift the Falcons (4-0-4) to a pool-play road victory in the Westside Tournament. Crescenta Valley, which hasn’t allowed a goal in its last five matches, got one goal apiece from Alex Berger, Erick Trejo, Eric Keshishian and Tony Royer.

Crescenta Valley 1, Golden Valley 0: The host Falcons (2-3) picked up a nonleague victory Tuesday.

South Pasadena 5, Glendale 0: The host Nitros fell Tuesday in a nonleague match.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Hoover 71, Monrovia 26: Kyle Bernardo collected 13 points and Teo Davidian added 12 on Tuesday to spur the Tornadoes (2-4) in a consolation game of the Glendora Tournament at West Covina High. Ryan Barsegan had 11 points for Hoover.

Renaissance Academy 69, Huntington Park 30: The Wildcats (5-1) posted a pool-play victory Tuesday in the Cantwell Sacred Heart Tournament.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

St. Genevieve 53, Holy Family 17: Gaby Diaz finished with eight points and Jennifer Rodriguez added seven on Tuesday for the visiting Gaels in a nonleague contest.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

Hoover 9, West Torrance 2: Lianna Khachikyan scored two goals Saturday to lead the Tornadoes (1-5) in a consolation match of the Burbank Tournament.
