Burbank 3, Hoover 1: Jordan Miller scored the lone goal Friday for the host Tornadoes in a Pacific League match. Hoover dropped to 3-5, 1-4 in league.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Flintridge Prep 81, Rio Hondo Prep 32: The Rebels sank 13 three-pointers to roll through Rio Hondo in Prep League action Friday. Kory Hamane scored a team-high 25 points, hitting seven of eight three-point attempts.

Chad Cosse (12), Jedrick Eugenio and Kareem Ismail (both 10) all scored in double digits for Prep (8-6, 2-0 in league).

Burbank 62, Hoover 37: Two Tornadoes scored in double digits in Friday’s Pacific League game, with Nareg Essagholian and Francis Roncal both scoring 10 points, but it wasn’t enough to outdo the Bulldogs on their home court. Andre Aladadyan added seven points for Hoover (7-11, 1-4 in league).

Muir 41, Glendale 35: Tara Abdul-Adad had nine points Friday for the host Nitros in a Pacific League contest. Erlin Keshishzadeh and Kris Zadourian each had seven points for Glendale (6-10, 0-5).
