Crescenta Valley 4, Glendale 0: The Falcons improved to 8-4-1 and 6-1-1 in the Pacific League on Monday at home, as they got three first-half goals en route to an easy win.

Olivia Bird, Jacque Phinney, Cassandra Orozco and Sarah Worden scored goals.

BOYS’ SOCCER

St. Francis 2, Harvard-Westlake 2: Billy McCreary and Matt Laterza each scored one goal Monday night for the visiting Golden Knights in a Mission League match. St. Francis (4-7-7, 3-1-3 in league) got an assist from Eric Bocanegra.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Sierra Canyon 65, Flintridge Prep 59: Chadd Cosse finished with a team-best 21 points and Robert Cartwright added 14 on Saturday for the Rebels (11-7) in a War on the Floor Extravaganza contest at Taft High. Kory Hamane added 11 points for Flintridge Prep, which received nine from Jedrick Eugenio.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Burroughs 54, Hoover 24: Kariz Alberto scored nine points Monday for the Tornadoes in a Pacific League home contest. Hoover fell to 4-12, 0-8 in league.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

College of the Canyons 80, Glendale Community College 72: Nick Rhodes led the Vaqueros with 18 points and five assists Saturday in a Western State Conference South Division home game. Nate Bryant finished with 12 points and Marquis Brooks had 12 points and seven rebounds for Glendale college, which fell to 10-11, 2-3 in the division.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

College of the Canyons 78, Glendale Community College 65: Lidia Rivas finished with a team-high 19 points and five rebounds Saturday for the host Vaqueros in a Western State Conference South Division contest. Alexandra Mancillas added 14 points for Glendale college (5-14, 2-3 in the division).
