BOYS’ SOCCER

Glendale 4, Arcadia 2: Artur Nazarian scored a pair of goals to lift the Nitros (2-5-3 in league) to a Pacific League win at home on Friday.

Muir 4, Hoover 3: There seemed to be little hope left for the Tornadoes as they faced a three-goal deficit heading into the second half of Friday’s Pacific League game. Hoover (3-5-4, 2-3-4 in league) came out on fire in the second, though, scoring three goals in an eight-minute span, but the Mustangs just held on for the victory at home.

Romel Sarkisloo scored twice for Hoover with Sarkis Tumasyan adding the final goal for the Tornadoes.
