All-Area Boys’ Tennis Doubles Teams

Jordan Adams, Senior, and Austin Fitzgerald, Senior, La Salle

Proved to be a formidable pair, as the two singles players played their first set together at the Del Rey League tournament and captured a Del Rey League championship. In CIF Southern section individual competition, the duo advanced to the second round and finished with a 5-2 record.

Phillip Lam, Junior, and Kevin Hoang, Senior, Burroughs

The duo secured the Pacific League title and helped the Indians advance to the semifinals of the CIF Southern Section Division II playoffs. Along with posting a 45-5 record, the team also advanced to the third round of the individual playoffs.

Sachin Puri, Sophomore, and Matt Johnson, Sophomore, Pasadena Poly

They proved to be a valuable asset for the Tigers, finishing as the Prep League runner-up. The duo also reached the second round of the CIF Southern Section Individual Tournament by knocking off Maranatha’s Derek Lee and Leo Liang, the Olympic League champions, and finished with a 39-11 record.
