John Huh tied for 44th at championship

Crescenta Valley High graduate John Huh, a rookie on the PGA Tour, carded an even-par 72 on Thursday during the first round of the 94th PGA Championship at Kiwah Island Resort Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, S.C.

Making his debut in the major event, Huh finished with three birdies, three bogeys and 12 pars to finish in a 21-way tie for 44th place. Huh will begin play in the second round at 11:10 a.m. Friday.
