Sports Roundup: Flintridge Prep gets another league win

BOYS’ WATER POLO

Flintridge Prep 14, Milken Community 7: Diego Delgado finished with four goals Thursday to lead the visiting Rebels to a Prep League win at UCLA. Flintridge Prep (10-5, 2-0 in league) got two goals apiece from Sean King and Ethan Vandeventer.

Mater Dei (junior varsity) 12, Crescenta Valley 8: The Falcons (3-5) fell Thursday in a pool-play match of the Villa Park Tournament. Antonio Camarillo and Brian Dertli scored three goals apiece for the Falcons, who got 11 saves from goalkeeper Robbie Menke.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Crescenta Valley 3, Muir 0: Noel Wong recorded nine aces and Emmie Walker added seven kills for the Falcons in a 25-10, 25-7, 25-8 Pacific League win Thursday. Kasieh Cases and Rosa Kwak had eight aces apiece for Crescenta Valley (2-5, 1-4 in league).

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Flintridge Prep 10, Webb 8: Flintridge Prep (3-8 overall) got three singles victories from Abby Letts and two singles wins apiece from Roya Gheissari and Maya Dunn to pick up a Prep League victory on Thursday.

GIRLS’ GOLF

Crescenta Valley 265, Burroughs 288: Micah Macasaet and Laura Perez led the Falcons by carding a 48 and 51, respectively, in a nonleague match at par-36 Brookside Golf Course No. 2 on Wednesday. The Falcons improved to 20-4.
