Hoover 57, Bell 43: Ando Adjemian finished with 18 points and Arlen Moradi added 11 on Friday to spark the Tornadoes in a pool-play game of the Pioneer Tournament.
Marina 63, Glendale 45: Rene Saavedra paced Glendale with a team-high 11 points Friday for the Nitros (1-6) in a pool-play game of the La Cañada Tournament. Arthur Terzyan and Stephan Arakelyan contributed 10 points each for Glendale, which will compete in the tournament’s seventh-place game at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Crescenta Valley 2, West Ranch 1: Katie Callister and Rachel Bird each scored a goal Thursday to lead the Falcons (1-2-1) to a nonleague victory.
