Micaela Anderson, Senior, Outside Hitter, La Cañada

All-Rio Hondo League’s co-Most Valuable Player finished with 385 kills, 153 digs, 44 aces and 27 blocks. Rutgers-bound standout helped Spartans win league championship and advance to CIF Southern Section Division II-AA semifinals.

Maggie Dunn, Senior, Outside Hitter, Mayfield

Finished with 245 kills, 322 digs, 36 aces and 30 blocks for playoff-bound Cubs. Selected to All-Prep League and All-CIF Southern Section Division II-A first teams.

Caitlin Hall, Senior, Outside Hitter, St. Monica Academy

Tabbed International League’s Most Valuable Player after averaging five kills, two aces and two digs per game and leading Crusaders to CIF Southern Section Division V-A championship match for first time in school’s history. Registered 35 kills in five-game championship match defeat.

Caroline Knop, Junior, Libero, La Salle

University of Michigan-bound standout averaged 4.9 digs per game and helped Lancers win CIF Southern Section Division I-A crown. Earned All-Del Rey League and All-CIF first-team accolades.

Taryn Nelson, Senior, Outside Hitter, Bellarmine-Jefferson

Collected 315 kills, 282 digs and 89 aces for Santa Cruz League champions. Named league’s player of the year and earned a spot on the All-CIF Southern Section Division IV-A first team.

Kendall Walbrecht, Senior, Outside Hitter, La Cañada

UC Davis-bound standout contributed 332 kills, 165 digs, 33 aces and 27 blocks and was named All-Rio Hondo League co-Most Valuable Player. Named to All-CIF Southern Section Division II-AA first team.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Tiare Tuitama, La Salle

Piloted Lancers to a 34-3 record and the CIF Southern Section Division I-A championship en route to being named division coach of the year after moving up a division. Led La Salle to Del Rey League championship and an appearance in the CIF State Division I postseason.
