OF – Austin Brines, Junior, Crescenta Valley
Emerged as a clutch hitter for the Falcons, earning first-team All-Pacific League honors after hitting .365 (23 for 63) with a .476 slugging percentage thanks to seven doubles. Drove in 13 runs for the Pacific League co-champs.
IF – Charlie Henderson, Junior, Marshall Fundamental
Delphic League first-team pick had a .458 average on 27 hits, scoring 23 runs, driving in 22 and stealing 21 bases.
C – George Medina, Junior, La Salle
Del Rey League first-teamer stood out at the plate and behind it. Threw out nine of 22 would-be base stealers and hit .377 with 21 RBI, 13 runs and 12 walks.
IF – Dylan Mersola, Senior, Burbank
All-Pacific League first-team selection hit .333 for the league co-champs. Had 24 RBI, 23 runs, 21 walks and hit .333 with a .515 on-base percentage.
IF – Christian Miyamae, Senior, South Pasadena
First-team All-Rio Hondo League pick led Tigers with .349 average, 24 runs batted in and 18 runs scored.
P – David Orndorff, Junior, Pasadena Poly
First-team All-Prep League and All-Area pick had a fine season at the plate (.351 average, 16 runs, 21 RBI and four home runs) and on the mound (6-4 record, 2.30 ERA, 83 strikeouts in 70 innings).
P – Luis Pererya, Senior, Burroughs
Second-team All-Pacific League pick was a key to the Indians’ success both at the plate and on the mound.
OF – Ricky Perez, Senior, Burbank
Scored 20 runs and drove in 12 to earn All-Pacific League first-team honors. Finished the season with a .333 average.
IF – Cole Pilar, Freshman, Flintridge Prep
Third baseman was a first-team All-Prep Leaguer who hit .410 in a dazzling debut season for the CIF Southern Section Division VI semifinalists.
UTL – Johnny Selsor, Junior, La Cañada
First-team all-league pick for Rio Hondo League champs, compiling a .352 average with 14 RBI, 13 runs and just four strikeouts at the plate. Catcher also received for a pitching staff with a 2.60 ERA.
UTL – Sumner Smith, Soph., Pasadena
Pacific League first-teamer was a big bright spot for Bulldogs, hitting .407 with 35 hits, 19 runs, 16 RBI and nine stolen bases.
OF – George Steckbeck, Junior, La Cañada
A second-team All-Rio Hondo League pick, led the Spartans with a .455 on-base percentage, while hitting .340 with 10 runs and six RBI. On the mound, threw 27 1/3 innings, posting a 1.79 ERA.
