Sports Roundup: Flintridge Sacred Heart volleyball sweeps up Alemany

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 3, Alemany 0: Kayla Lund collected 10 kills and Sophia Coffey added 27 assists Tuesday to lead the visiting Tologs to a 25-11, 25-14, 25-17 Mission League victory. Emily Develle finished with 13 digs for Flintridge Sacred Heart (14-3, 5-1 in league).

Westridge 3, Flintridge Prep 0: Dani Motte had eight kills and Tala Ismail added five on Tuesday for the Rebels, who suffered a 25-20, 25-8, 25-15 Prep League home defeat. Flintridge Prep dropped to 1-13, 0-9 in league.

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Glendale 16, Pasadena 2: The host Nitros received doubles sweeps from Imani Story and Dani Fabian and Amanda Lieu and Ruth Kachatorian to pick up a Pacific League win. Story and Fabian won, 6-3, 6-0, 6-0. Lieu and Kachatorian won, 6-2, 6-1, 6-0. Glendale improved to 7-7, 6-5 in league.

Burbank 17, Hoover 1: Hoover fell Tuesday in a Pacific League road match. The Tornadoes dropped to 5-9, 3-8 in league.

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 15, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 3: The visiting Tologs suffered a Mission League defeat Monday at Braemar Country Club. Flintridge Sacred Heart dipped to 5-10, 2-7 in league.

GIRLS’ GOLF

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in Mission League finals: The Tologs carded a 472 on Monday at Harding Golf Course in Griffith Park to place fourth in the competition. They took fifth overall in league. A pair of Flintridge Sacred Heart players qualified for the league’s individual final, which will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at River Ridge Golf Course’s Vineyard Course in Oxnard. Katie Hartwig carded an 11-over-par 83 and teammate Ally Wilson had a 94 to advance.
