Chaos returns to casino

Lights Out Promotions’ hybrid combats sports series will return to the Hollywood Park and Casino on Nov. 23 for “Chaos at the Casino 3.”

Former “The Ultimate Fighter” contestant Sevak Magakian of Glendale will fight in the mixed-martial-arts main event against another former Ultimate Fighter, Chris Saunders, on a card that features MMA, boxing and muay Thai kickboxing.

Magakian, who trains at Team Hayastan and Main Event Sports Club in Glendale, is 13-5-1, while Saunders is 10-5. Both are also Bellator Fighting Championships veterans.

A slew of local talent is currently scheduled to compete on the card, including boxers Vatche Martirosyan and Azat Hovhannisyan, muay Thai fighters Melsik Bagdasaryan and Levon Sargsyan and MMA fighters Alfred Kashakyan, Arsen Galstyan and Armen Bakanian.

Burbank Gracie Barra MMA fighters Rob Gooch and Daniel Clark are also slated to fight in separate bouts.

The co-main event will be Christos Giagos (6-2) against Thor Skancke (4-4) in an MMA bout.
