Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 4, Monrovia 0: The Tologs opened their season with a victory on Tuesday evening at Occidental College.

Flintridge Prep 1, Ramona Convent 1: The Rebels notched their second tie of the season on the road Tuesday, as their record is now 0-0-2.

Freshman Jillian Brady scored a first-half goal that was assisted by senior Chelsea Johnson. Sophomore goalie Lauren Stiles added nine saves.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Crescenta Valley 3, Taft 0: Chris Sinani, Jason Winicki and Matt Ryan each scored one goal Monday for the Falcons in a season-opening nonleague road match.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 68, Pasadena 43: The Tologs (2-0) received 22 points from Casey Johnson and 17 from Ellie DiPietro on Tuesday to earn a pool-play victory in the Duarte Tournament. DiPietro collected 10 points and 11 rebounds and Kelly Fradet added 16 points to power the Tologs to a 59-14 pool-play win against Bravo on Monday.

Marshall Fundamental 51, Holy Family 26: Melissa Chan finished with 13 points Tuesday for the visiting Gaels, who opened their season with a nonleague defeat.
