Glendale college women’s tennis hosts Grossmont in CCCAA opener
Tsukimi Ono and the Glendale Community College women’s tennis team will open the postseason Tuesday at home against Grossmont College.

For a second consecutive season, the Glendale Community College women’s tennis team won the Western State Conference title.
And for the second straight season, GCC is off to the California Community College Athletic Assn. Dual Team Tennis Regional Championship.
Glendale will host seventh-seeded Grossmont College on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
The winner will move on to the regional semifinals a week later on April 12 at the site of the higher seed.
Following an undefeated run through the Western State Conference, Glendale boasts a 14-3 record and will face Grossmont out of the Pacific Coast Conference.
Last season, Glendale, also the No. 2 seed, advanced all the way to the regional championship, falling against top-seeded Mt. San Antonio College, 5-2.
On the other side of the bracket, top-seeded Cerritos is hosting No. 8 Santa Barbara City and No. 6 Mt. SAC travels to Irvine Valley.
The state championship take place on April 16.
