Two people are in custody and a third still at large after allegedly crashing a stolen truck into a tree in the Flintridge area Tuesday, according to police.
Glendale police initially responded to a call around 2:30 p.m. regarding a package theft near Chevy Chase and Regent Park drives. Sgt. Robert William of the Glendale Police Department said a truck at the scene fled when officers arrived.
A short pursuit ensued, and the truck’s driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. William said two men fled from the vehicle while a woman, 35-year-old Ines Jacome, was immediately apprehended.
It was then discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen from the Mission Hills area.
Shortly before 6 p.m. police apprehended the alleged driver, 26-year-old Noe Delarosa.
Both Delarosa and Jacome were booked on suspicion of grand theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.
The third suspect is still outstanding. William said the only information available about him is that he is Latino.
