News-Press Pet of the Day: Licorice

Licorice is a male, short-haired, black rabbit. He is a very sweet little guy, who loves playing in his playpen.

While he doesn’t enjoy being held for long periods of time, he will happily snuggle up on your lap.

Licorice has been neutered and is available to go home with you today.

The regular rabbit adoption fee is $30, which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip and a free follow-up health check at a participating veterinarian.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for a pet.
