News-Press Pet of the Day: Nomi
Nomi is an 11-month-old, female, black-and-white pit bull. She is super sweet and full of energy. Nomi would do well in an active household where she can have lots of walks and playtime.
This smart puppy already knows her “sit” training cue and is eager to learn some more. If you’re ready to adopt an activity buddy and new best friend, come meet Nomi.
The regular dog adoption fee is $125, which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, vaccinations, and a free follow-up health check at a participating veterinarian.
Percy (A389467) and Marie (A388396), two Pets of the Week from last week, are both still available.
New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for a pet.
Call the Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A389580 or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. Directions to the shelter and photos of all pets can be found at pasadenahumane.org.
