Food Network star Simon Majumdar to host food and wine event in Newport Beach

The Pacific Wine and Food Classic, an event featuring more than 100 food, wine and cocktail stations, is coming to Newport Beach this August.

The event takes place Aug. 19 and 20 at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort.

It will include live culinary demonstrations from area chefs and Simon Majumdar, who has appeared on the Food Network and serves as the event host.

Tickets are $150 for one day or $250 for both days. VIP packages are available.
