Mothers. Daughters. Sisters. Friends.

Women from Orange County, Los Angeles and San Diego are invited to a one-day wellness event in Anaheim on June 1 that will focus on delivering a message of greater productivity, increased energy and improved life satisfaction.

The Whole Purpose, an Irvine-based health-conscious company providing individuals and corporations an approach to physical and emotional well-being, partnered with the newly renovated House of Blues Anaheim for a conference, “Me.Life.Balance.”

The daylong affair will begin with Acai breakfast bowls, a lunch buffet, snacks, a happy hour featuring drinks mixed with cold-pressed juices and a lineup of speakers promoting healthy living.

Nutritionist and New York Times best-selling author Kimberly Snyder will deliver the keynote speech, “Emotional Wellbeing and Keeping Emotional Balance through Proper Nutrition.”

Snyder, a graduate of Georgetown University, is the creator of Glow Bio, an organic smoothie, juice and cleanse company. She has worked as nutritionist for celebrities, including Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore and Channing Tatum.

The event will also feature a Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian expert panel moderated by Dr. Allyson Brooks, chief quality officer, and the Ginny Ueberroth, executive medical director and endowed chair of the Hoag Women’s Health Institute in Newport Beach.

Jenny Ross, a chef who specializes in vegan raw food, will discuss, “Balancing Your Energy through Superfoods and Healthy Quick Meal Planning,” and Emmy Award-winning television journalist and former Miss USA and KTLA news anchor Lu Parker will present, “Kindness Wins.”

“That’s So Retrograde” podcast hosts Elizabeth Kott and Stephanie Simbari will host an onstage moderation with nutritionist Elissa Goodman for “Detoxing the Mind.”

The Whole Purpose will continue to host events at House of Blues Anaheim throughout the year, including one with Mallika Chopra, founder of intent.com, author of “Living with Intent” and the daughter of spiritual guru Deepak Chopra.

“I’m hoping women learn more about how to make themselves and their communities healthier,” said Kelly Lam, a Newport Beach resident who founded The Whole Purpose. “My goal is create a community where everyone can find like-minded friends wanting to help each other. There doesn’t need to be competition. Let’s all work together.”

“Me.Life.Balance” will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 1 at House of Blues Anaheim, 400 Disney Way. For more information, visit thewholepurpose.com/event/me-life-balance
