Police investigate after man’s body is found in Talbert Regional Park

Costa Mesa police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Friday morning in Talbert Regional Park, authorities said.

Police responded to the park after receiving a report of a body being found at about 9 a.m., police spokeswoman Roxi Fyad said.

Fyad said the man was a transient in his 30s.

The cause of death was unknown, Fyad said.

Residents who live near Talbert park have reported many crimes and disruptions related to homeless encampments in the park.
