Corona del Mar girls’ volleyball goes untested in sweep of Irvine

The Corona del Mar High girls’ volleyball team steamrolled Irvine 25-10, 25-18, 25-12 on Tuesday night.

Libby Gessford had four kills and four aces. Nikki Senske had five kills, and Blair Hodges added four kills for the Sea Kings (10-4, 4-0).

CdM can take complete control of the Pacific Coast League race with a win at Woodbridge on Thursday. The Warriors won when they hosted the Sea Kings last year, which was CdM’s only loss in league a year ago.
