Pick Up Free Compost Laguna Beach residents may get free compost from 8 a.m. to noon at the ACT V lot, 1900 Laguna Canyon Road. The giveaway is sponsored by the city, Waste Management and green waste recycling contractor Tierra Verde Industries. Sandbags will be provided, which residents can fill with compost. Limit of six sandbags (about 80 pounds) per household on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lawn Bowling Club Open House Learn some cool moves on the green when the Laguna Beach Lawn Bowling Club hosts its annual open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 455 Cliff Drive.
