Classic Car Show

The 26th annual HB Concours is at Huntington Central Park, 7111 Talbert Ave. The Saturday program runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features a variety of hot rods; Sunday’s program runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and spotlights classic cars and motorcycles. The event also features entertainment, food, vendors and a student art contest. Admission is $10 per day or $15 for both days; seniors 62 and older are $8 per day or $12 for both days. Two-dollar discount fliers are available at the library and on the Concours’ website. Children younger than 12 are free with an adult. Longboard Anniversary

The Longboard Restaurant & Pub hosts a 20th anniversary party, featuring appetizers, dancing and music by the Kooks, at the SeaCliff Country Club, 6501 Palm Ave., Huntington Beach. Community Service Program’s Huntington Beach Youth Shelter hosts a fifth anniversary Reception & Open House at 7291 Talbert Ave. The program includes hors d’oeuvres from noon to 1 p.m., an awards presentation from 1 to 1:45 p.m., a report on fundraising results from 1:45 to 2 p.m. and an open house from 2 to 3 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to bring change to donate.
