Food Trucks

Costa Mesa High School, 2650 Fairview Road, hosts a benefit Food Truck Night from 5 to 8 p.m. in the student parking lot near the gym. The trucks will donate some of their proceeds for the high school’s athletics, academics and other programs.

Furoshiki Workshop

Naturalist Leslie Helliwell leads a workshop on how to wrap gifts in Furoshiki cloths, a Japanese tradition. The workshop is at 6:30 p.m. at the Environmental Nature Center, 1601 16th St., Newport Beach. Admission is $30 per person. RSVP by calling (949) 645-8489.

Tuesday Residency

Dancing With The Teachers

The Newport Harbor High School Dance Team hosts its first Dancing with the Teachers at 7 p.m. Students have choreographed dances with teachers. Marine Gift Drive

The Orange County Great Park and city of Irvine are holding a holiday gift drive for the families of Irvine’s adopted Marine unit. Unwrapped gifts will be collected for the Marines at the Great Park Visitors Center and at its Sunday Farmers Market.
