Tall Ships Sailing In

The tall ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain will be at the Newport Sea Base, 1931 W. Coast Hwy. The ships will be open for walk-on tours from 4 to 5 p.m. Dec. 28 to 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 31 and 4 to 5 p.m. Jan. 3. At 2 p.m. on New Year's Eve, the ships will host guests for a three-hour Battle Sail replicating naval war maneuvers from the Revolutionary War and War of 1812. New Year's Eve at AnQi

Ring in the New Year Aboard a Yacht

The eighth annual New Year's Eve Yacht Party will take place in Newport Harbor aboard the 150-foot vessel The Majestic. If tickets for the party on the Majestic sell out, tickets will be sold for a New Year's Eve party aboard another yacht, The Ambassador.
