Art Show

Orange County Fine Arts, an association of OC artists, presents an exhibition of artistic works by its members at the Showcase Gallery, South Coast Plaza Village, 3851 S. Bear St., Santa Ana. Tall Ships Sailing In

The tall ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain will be at the Newport Sea Base, 1931 W. Coast Hwy. The ships will be open for walk-on tours from 4 to 5 p.m. Dec. 28 to 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 31 and 4 to 5 p.m. on Jan. 3. At 2 p.m. on New Year's Eve, the ships will host guests for a three-hour Battle Sail replicating naval war maneuvers from the Revolutionary War and War of 1812. New Year's Eve at AnQi

Ring in the New Year Aboard a Yacht

The eighth annual New Year's Eve Yacht Party will take place in Newport Harbor aboard the 150-foot vessel The Majestic. If tickets for the party on the Majestic sell out, tickets will be sold for a New Year's Eve party aboard another yacht, The Ambassador.
