Pet of the Week

Share

Who could resist this sweet face? Shiloh, a year-old beagle mix, has won the hearts of volunteers with her affectionate ways and calm demeanor.

Beagles make excellent family pets since they are gentle and easy to train. Shiloh is relatively tiny at 15 pounds, which indicates a smaller secondary breed in the mix. She appears to be house-trained and walks obediently on leash, eager to greet those she encounters.

Not a barker or demanding, Shiloh is just a wonderful little companion. She will be spayed before adoption, but her weight will need to be watched since beagles are prone to overindulge. Otherwise, she is healthy and ready to bring her floppy ears and loving brown eyes into your household.
