Thus, this little Chihuahua mix came to be known as Forrest. While initially somewhat timid, he is now eager for walks. At 18 months, he is healthy, neutered and house-trained. Forrest is not a barker and behaves well with other dogs. Volunteers love to cuddle this 9-pound charmer and wonder why he remains unadopted after six months of shelter residency.
