Two people are taken to trauma centers after three-car crash in Costa Mesa

Two people were taken to trauma centers Monday afternoon after a three-car crash in Costa Mesa in which one of the vehicles rolled over, fire officials said.

The collision happened at about 12:30 p.m. at West 19th Street and Meyer Place, according to the Costa Mesa Fire & Rescue Department. Three adults were involved. A woman was extricated from the overturned vehicle. She and a man were taken to area trauma centers, the department said.
Alcohol and drugs are not considered factors in the crash, according to Costa Mesa police.
