Volunteers turned out Sunday at Huntington Dog Beach to help clean up trash and other refuse.

People of all ages can register for more cleanups at the dog beach scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Sunday and Feb. 2, 9 and 16 at 100 Goldenwest St., Huntington Beach. Dogs are welcome to join their owners.

Those who participate are asked to bring reusable containers for trash, such as buckets, plastic bags and plastic milk jugs or 2-liter bottles with the tops cut off; gardening gloves, though disposable plastic gloves are provided; and cat litter scoopers to help pick up trash.
