Female killed, male critically injured in Huntington Beach motorcycle crash

A female was killed and a male was critically injured when a motorcycle and another vehicle collided on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, authorities said Sunday.

The crash occurred at 8:17 p.m. Saturday on PCH between Warner Avenue and the entrance to Bolsa Chica State Beach, Huntington Beach police Lt. Thoby Archer told City News Service.

It appeared both were on the motorcycle, Archer said.

The female was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. Paramedic srushed the male to a hospital. The ages of the victims were not available and names were not released.

Pacific Coast Highway was closed in both directions in the area of the crash, for the police investigation, Archer said.
